Conan O’Brien Buys in Neighboring Brentwood
Beverly Hills’ neighboring community, Brentwood, has just welcomed its newest celebrity: NBC late-night host Conan O’Brien. Set to take Jay Leno’s mantle on "The Tonight Show" in 2009, 44-year-old O’Brien and his wife Liza are getting a headstart on their move with the purchase of a $10.5 million compound.
The newly constructed compound has six en suite bedrooms, including a master bedroom with a sitting room, balcony, and two bathrooms. The MLS listing of the home noted that it sits on one of Brentwood’s most prestigious streets and includes:
- a screening room
- 1,500-bottle wine room
- a paneled library with a bar
- a 60-foot veranda
- a pool
- a spa
- a fire-placed pavilion
- public bathrooms
- 10-foot ceilings
- six fireplaces
O’Brien was announced as the successor to Jay Leno in 2004.
